Above is a still image from my mini Flash game “Marooned.” This is a point and click style game. The object of the game is to help Mr. Chip find a way off the remote island. Click on the above image to play the game.
Both music tracks in the game are by the brilliant Welsh composer Ceri Frost who I was really fortunate to be able to work with again on this project. Ceri’s music is the inspiration for this mini-game.
‘Marooned’ was created at the UCLA Animation Workshop and was made with Photoshop and Flash. This is my first flash game :)
Thanks to Ceri Frost, Lynn Okimura and my UCLA Flash class.
More Dream animation stills from scene two of my short film. This is from the latest render of my loose narrative, music video/short film that I have been working on at UCLA this quarter. The music is by the amazingly talented Welsh composer Ceri Frost.
This film is a combination of TVPaint, Flash, hand drawn, hand painted, and Photoshop elements put together in After Effects. This film is almost finished and should be complete before January :)
Some stills from a non-narrative, dream short I am working on. I have been really lucky to work with Ceri Frost, an amazing and inspiring composer.
Hand drawn and Photoshop elements animated in After Effects and Flash.
‘Tea for Two’ was my first storyboard project for the class ‘Writing for Animation – 181B,’ at UCLA. This first board topic required the following: adaptation of published material with verbal content (story, poem, song etc.) presented in a story board format. I chose an adaptation of the song, ‘Tea for Two.’
From Fall Quarter, 2006.
‘Super,’ pen and ink and photoshop. Another personal poster project for the band, Super Furry Animals.
This started off as a pen and ink drawing. However, I wasn’t at all happy with the original drawing so I coloured the pen and ink image in Photoshop. As soon as I started the drawing I knew it wasn’t going to turn out well…so of course it didn’t.
Here’s the original pen and ink drawing.
