This was my pencil test for UCLA’s 181A class, Animation Design in Film and Television. This was the first exercise for the lab portion of the class and the assignment required the following:

a layout drawing

24 sequential drawings within 12FC

a ball that bounces and turns into a square

squash and stretch

animation on twos

I edited the original excercise so that it is mostly on twos, with a few ones and a three. Below is the layout. This is from Fall Quarter 2006.
