Below are some photos from my recent trip to Belmont Shore, Longbeach LA. I traveled out to LA to attend the premiere for Brian Jett’s film ‘Let Go.’ I created the animated titles and sequences for the film.

Another set of sketches from our road trip and camping trip to northern California. For part of our trip we camped at Lodgepole, Sequoia National Park. Above are some sketches of Lodgepole, Sequoia National Park. Colored pencil and pen and ink on paper.
It was an amazing place. We saw lots of wildlife including a black bear cub and a scorpion (the scorpion was living under our tent – see photo below :)

Last summer we went on a great road trip and camping trip to one of my favorite northern California places, Big Sur. Here are some sketches of Big Sur and Monterey from that trip. Watercolor and pen and ink on paper.

Manifestations is an animated tale of love in which Mr. Chip seeks anime love in a psychedelic, ever-morphing virtual world. Music by Welsh Composer Ceri Frost
The California International Animation Festival is an excellent fest that “is dedicated to a recognition that animation, gaming and filmmaking are not separate businesses, but fingers on the same hand.” If anyone is in the Modesto/Riverside area tomorrow I urge you to go and support the California International Animation Festival.
Thanks to Dr. George A. Baker and Louise E. Baker.
Additionally, if anyone sees Manifestations at the festival, please leave a comment to let me know what you thought. Thanks!
